Snowboardcrosser Samková rode her board for the first time after a broken leg

Three months after the injury to both legs, due to which she lost her start at the Beijing Olympics, snowboard cross-country player Eva Samková reappeared on the board. She published a video on the instagram, in which she enjoys free riding on the piste.

“The first shredder after 3 months,” wrote the Olympic winner from Sochi in 2014. Already last week, Samková indicated great progress in treatment when she published a video on the treadmill for the first time after a serious injury.

Samková was injured on December 11 during the finish of the mixed team race in Montafon, Austria. In order to achieve the goal, the Czech star “cut” the board into the snow and the competitor broke the ends of both shin bones in places close to her ankles.

After surgery in Austria, he has three screws in his left leg and another three and a plate in his right. According to the plan, the doctors should remove them around July, and then Samková intends to fully throw herself into preparation for next season.
