The most famous contemporary Icelandic music association Sigur Rós will give the only concert in the Baltic States on October 15 at the Arena Riga. Public ticket sales in the www.bilesuserviss.lv network will start next Friday, March 18.
The band “Sigur Rós” informs that after a break of more than five years, they are going on a new world concert tour, which will start in both Americas in April, but will continue in Europe in the autumn. As the studio is currently recording a new album, the concert will feature both brand new compositions and the best-known songs of the band.
Sigur Rós was formed in 1994 by guitarist and vocalist Jón Pór Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm and drummer Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson, who was joined by musicians four years later. keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson.
