The price of diesel will fall sharply on Tuesday. The maximum price for diesel B7 drops by 20.7 euro cents to 2.0790 euros per liter, the FPS Economy announced.

The price drop was already announced this weekend by experts, who pointed to the program law that regulates the maximum prices for fuels.
Fuel oil, on the other hand, will become more expensive on Tuesday, up to a maximum of 1.1146 euros per liter (+ 1.18 euro cents) for an order from 2,000 liters. For a small order, less than 2,000 litres, the maximum price is 1.1470 euros per litre.
European gas prices also fell on Monday after reports that negotiations on a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine are continuing. The countries will talk again via video link on Monday and Russian President Vladimir Putin is said to be willing to meet with Ukrainian leader Volodimir Zelensky.
The price for gas on the Amsterdam gas exchange, which is a guideline for European prices, fell by 10 percent on Monday morning to 118 euros per megawatt hour. Last Monday, the gas price rose to the record level of 345 euros.
