JAÉN.- The Ministry of Health and Families, through the Jaén-Jaén Sur District, is vaccinating this week, from March 14 to 19, from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturday on the 19th, in one of its mobile units, next to the ‘Bulevar’ health center in the capital, for those over 12 years of age, for first and second doses, or if they are going to travel abroad, providing the necessary documentation for this, in addition over 18 for booster dose. Those who meet these requirements can attend without the need for an appointment.
This is one of the measures put in place to promote vaccination in the province of Jaen, once the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) keeps the self-appointment open for the booster dose against Covid-19 for people over 18 years of age . Similarly, the SAS wants to remember that pregnant women are also recommended the booster dose, regardless of their age.
The booster dose is indicated if five months have passed since the second dose of messenger RNA (Pfizer or Moderna). Also, from three months after the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine and three months after vaccination with Janssen.
The appointment request can be made through the usual channels: the SAS website through ClicSalud+ (http://lajunta.es/2a5ny), the mobile application and the Salud Responde phone (955 54 50 60) as well as at your health center, preferably by phone.
Regarding the vaccination points without an appointment, which can be consulted here (https://lajunta.es/3m7y7), those people born in 1997 or previous years who are pending a booster dose may attend; those who received a dose of Janssen or the AstraZeneca regimen; as well as people 12 years of age or older pending to start the vaccination process with the first dose or who are pending the second dose.
