Otomotifnet.com – Not only Rocky, Daihatsu also did recall to Luxio and Gran Max.
A total of 11,876 Daihatsu Luxio and Gran Max units are affected by the recall program this time.
The recall applies to Luxio and Gran Max which were produced from September 9, 2021 to January 21, 2022.
Keep in mind, recall Daihatsu Luxio and this Gran Max is caused by a program problem in the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) or the engine computer.
“The symptoms are unstable engine rotation, engine knocking or the engine stalls and turns off,” said Bambang Supriyadi, Executive Coordinator of the Technical Service Division of PT ADM in a virtual press conference (11/3).
The origin of the problem with the Daihatsu Luxio and Gran Max machine computer programs is the result of the chip crisis that occurred in mid-2020.
“Due to the lack of chip supply, Daihatsu uses multisource chips to meet the high demand for these two units and this has an impact on the car’s ECU program,” continued Bambang.
