The underpass is part of the Trekfietstracé, a through cycle route between the center of The Hague, the Binckhorst, Ypenburg and Pijnacker-Nootdorp. Alderman Robert van Asten calls it ‘an asset’ to the project. ‘A lot of people are already using parts of the route. Due to the transformation of the Binckhorst in the coming years, I expect that even more people will use it.’
