At that time, he gathered palm oil plantation owners and cooking oil producers. He asked businessmen to immediately lower prices and provide cooking oil in the market.
Because Indonesia is the largest producer of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in the world. So it is not uncommon for difficulties and cooking oil to be expensive.
“Domestic entrepreneurs want big profits. He takes the domestic quota, he exports it. I was simple at that time, if cooking oil doesn’t go down within one month, check all taxes, it goes down in three weeks,” he explained.
