President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time named the number of soldiers who died defending our land from invaders.
According to him, since the beginning of the war, that is, in 16 days, 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers have died.
“About 1,300 military people died in our country, and more than 12 thousand in Russia. One in ten. I am not happy that 12 thousand of them died,” the president said.
Zelensky clarified that this is not his vision of the world as a whole, since Russians also have parents.
“They were sent, most of them generally do not know where they came,” Zelensky said. According to him, the Russian invaders are talking about some kind of fascism. “They were fooled, sorry for such a word, with their information policy that we are some kind of Nazis here,” Zelensky said.
At the same time, he added that in Ukraine, the Russians realized that they were Nazis, because “they behave like Nazis.” According to him, there are a lot of Russian prisoners because they came to kill us and then saw that “they are weak, that we will not surrender, because we are on our own land, and secondly, some of them understood, despite the fact that that they are 18-20 years old, that they behave like Nazis.”
According to him, the occupiers loot, blockade cities – they do not allow people to bring water. “I don’t know how they will return home. Because their vision is already changing,” the President of Ukraine added.
According to him, those who “receive the pleasure of killing, they will not leave on their own feet, they will be taken away from here.” At the same time, he stressed that the Ukrainians will stand until the end. “Therefore, one to ten. Because the truth is on our side,” Zelensky stressed. He added that we have our own history and “we are not some kind of hybrids – what they say about us – we have the same hands as all the Russian military. The same legs and the same head. The only thing is that no one did not wash his head, our brain. Because we have freedom and democracy.”
