As LETA was informed by MicRec, the publication includes compositions performed by such musicians as Igo, Ieva Akuratere, Remix, Putnu balle, Žoržs Siksna, Tip Top, Normunds Rutulis, Ojārs Grinbergs, Dzeguzīte. and others.

The book also includes a biographical description of musician Daiga Mazvērsīte about Herman’s creative life. She writes that with music, namely playing the guitar, Hermanis started earning bread at the age of seventeen – he studied in the day department of Liepāja Music High School and in the evenings he played in the pubs of his native Liepāja.

“At that time, he devoted eight, even ten or twelve hours of guitar playing to the guitar, and what a miracle there was that he tuned his own melodies in the middle of other composers’ compositions. At first, of course, instrumental music, and no matter what, Aivars did not write poetry, so he sought inspiration for the songs in newspapers and books. Even now, in the morning, Aivars often takes the book in his hands as the first one, not in his youth, when he had to throw his head in the verse of music – he already played in the ensemble “Senči” at school, called Juris Pavītols pointed out Mazvers.

The series “The Most Popular Songs of Latvian Music” has already published 20 sheet music books, including Raimonds Pauls, Imants Kalniņš, Mārtiņš Freimaņš, Uldis Marhilevičs, Guntars Račs and the groups “Līvi”, “Brainstorm”, “but bet” song collections and thematic song collections – for children, Christmas songs, messengers, folk songs and more.
