The book also includes a biographical description of musician Daiga Mazvērsīte about Herman’s creative life. She writes that with music, namely playing the guitar, Hermanis started earning bread at the age of seventeen – he studied in the day department of Liepāja Music High School and in the evenings he played in the pubs of his native Liepāja.
“At that time, he devoted eight, even ten or twelve hours of guitar playing to the guitar, and what a miracle there was that he tuned his own melodies in the middle of other composers’ compositions.
