Darmstadt (ots) –
The result of a speed check on Thursday evening (March 10) in the Carl-Schenck-Ring, at the corner of Otto-Röhm-Straße, carried out by police officers from the 3rd police station was almost frightening. Within just one hour, between 10:50 p.m. and 11:50 p.m., law enforcement officers stopped seven vehicles that clearly exceeded the prescribed maximum speed of 50 km/h. For three of them, the laser measuring device showed that they exceeded 26 km/h, 30 and 32 km/h. These drivers, including a 19-year-old who was also still in the probationary period, now face severe fines as well as driving bans.
