For the first time in 5 years l’Ecuador it would seem ready to call Felipe back to the national team Caicedo. This was announced by the local journalist Diego Arcos in his program Cabin 14, where he spoke of contacts that have already taken place between the Ecuadorian Football Federation and the footballer.
Its call is linked to the qualifications to World Cup the Qatar 2022: scheduled are the challenges against Paraguay e Argentina.
For him it would be an incredible comeback: the last match played with Ecuador was the 5th September 2017when Ecuador was defeated by the Peru in a match valid for the ai qualifiers 2018 World Cup. After that match, Caicedo decided to say goodbye to the national team after the departure of the coach Gustavo Quinteros.
