REUTLINGEN. The corona pandemic meant the end of two major events in Reutlingen: the city festival and Garden Life. While the garden fair was paused for two years, the city festival was not allowed to be celebrated for three years. That should change in 2022. As the organizers informed the GEA, both events should take place.
The city festival is planned for Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th in Reutlingen city centre. In addition to the show acts on the stages, clubs also take part, presenting themselves and offering food and drinks for catering. The Reutlingen city marketing points out that clubs can register on the website until Monday, March 28, 2022 www.tourismus-reutlingen.de/aktuelles/stadtfest-reutlingen-2022 can register.
Garden Life is scheduled to open on Ascension Day. According to the organizer Solutioncube, due to the pandemic, there are fewer exhibitors than in previous years. Nevertheless, there is a high-quality mix of suppliers with garden-related items, as well as an extensive lecture program with specialist speakers and three catering areas. However, due to dilapidation, the greenhouse cannot be used. Exhibitors offering plants can still apply report to participate. (GEA)
