Lenzerheide (dpa) – The American exceptional driver Mikaela Shiffrin, who finished second in the victory of Frenchwoman Romane Miradoli in the Super-G on Saturday, took fourth place this time. The 26-year-old thus extended her lead in the overall World Cup. Her first pursuer, Petra Vlhova from Slovakia, was eliminated in the first round.
The Slovenian Meta Hrovat threaded a gate in the second run, was lifted out and fell heavily. A German athlete was not at the start. In the Super-G the day before, Kira Weidle from Starnberg had celebrated her best result in this discipline so far in seventh place.
