While excited about the arrival of John Textorthe fan of Botafogo has some apprehension about the proximity of the Brazilian championship still with a very limited cast. The message ended up reaching the investor, through fan João Victor Moreira.
– Hi, John. There’s only one month left for the Brazilian Championship and we still don’t have a coach and only two confirmed reinforcements. We need more reinforcements and a coach as soon as possible if we don’t want to suffer in the Brasileirão. We trust you – questioned the fan in a private message on Instagram last Tuesday.
During the week, Botafogo made official the signing of the defender Philipe Sampaioex-Guingamp (FRA), and attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon, from Braga (POR). John Textor, in the early hours of this Friday, replied to the black and white fan and promised at least six more reinforcements, in addition to confirming that there is already a coach agreed – which would be Luis Castro.
– I understand. Don’t worry, we have the coach. We will sign at least six more players before the competition starts. We don’t have much time, but we’re working very hard,” replied John Textor.
Probable future coach of Botafogo, Luís Castro is still working for Al-Duhail (QAT) and awaits the end of the Emir Cup, which is scheduled to end on March 18, in order to transfer. The Brazilian Championship starts on April 9 and Botafogo debuts against Corinthiansat Nilton Santos Stadium.
