Covid France, minister: ‘Extremely vigilant about recovery’
French Health Minister Olivier Véran spoke today of a “rebound” of the Covid-19 epidemic, highlighting the need for the most fragile people to “continue to protect themselves” despite the fact that since Monday they have ceased to wear indoor masks, with the exception of public transport. “We are currently observing – said Véran during a visit to Isère (south-east of the country) – a rebound, in France, in the countries that surround us, that is, Covid no longer decreases, rather it increases”. “Considering yesterday’s figures – continued the minister – this is a 20% increase”.
