Time goes by and it is now seven months since Samsung introduced the Galaxy Watch 4, which meant the manufacturer’s return to Wear OS. A sequel is to be expected this summer.
According to ET News, one of the news will be a thermometer to measure body temperature. Samsung already offers more health-related sensors than most, through electrocardiograms and measuring blood pressure, body composition, oxygen saturation and heart rate.
The source claims that the thermometer will function as a fever thermometer and that Samsung has developed technology that enables accurate measurement in a smartwatch. Galaxy Watch 5 will be presented in August according to the report.
