However, the British Government has allowed Chelsea FC to carry on with their normal activities,” Chelsea said in a statement.
“We will continue to play today’s men’s and women’s teams against Norwich and West Ham, as well as discussing with the British government the scope of this permit. This allows the club to operate as usual. We are also continuing to seek direction from the British Government regarding the impact of this punishment on Chelsea. Chelsea is currently in third place in the standings Premier League with 53 points from 26 games, 10 points behind Liverpool in second place and 16 points from Manchester City at the top.
