The seven-day incidences in the Würzburg area are increasing again. On Thursday the value in the city was 2053.5, in the district 2232.4 – for comparison: a week ago the incidences were around 1,800.
The health department is still not entirely clear where people mainly get infected with Corona. Among other things, the infections during the carnival holidays are currently contributing to the high rate of infection. In addition, the virus is also circulating in numerous old people’s and nursing homes.
To what extent the club openings (since Friday) will have an impact on the infection process is not yet apparent – but cannot be ruled out either, according to the health department.
In the districts of Main-Spessart and Kitzingen, too, many people continue to get infected with Corona every day. Here the incidences on Thursday are 1823.4 and 1882.3 respectively.
