Two straight wins for Redbergslids IK are not commonplace. However, the inspiration after the triumph in the bottom meeting spilled over and the home team got a hole in HK Aranäs in a smoking hot half. Final result 31–26 and great joy among the white elegant.

RIK can spell to victory again. The other two-pointer in a short time was simply due to the fact that it was true in attack and defense for the Gothenburg team.

Aranäs certainly dueled evenly for ten minutes, 6-6 after a nice flap for Ludvig Högberg and the guests’ Oscar Gentzel.

Then the away team got stuck in the defensive traps. Among other things, Redbergslid was paid for the game openings that Oskar Joelsson took advantage of.

Andreas Palicka was stable when he faced set attacks and was prepared with the little tricks to close on a couple of penalties.

Marko Lasica sent in 11-6, just the beginning of the RIK jerk that managed to decide the match already at half time. Joelsson had his nose right towards goal and his teammates pulled apart the Aranäs defense in repeated, successful collaborations.

Palicka kept calm with reliable reflexes. When Aranäs tested seven against six, the goalkeeper also benefited from snappy wrists and lifted two balls on the way to a crushing 21-10 at the break.

The second half was quickly completed, Redbergslid did what was needed and balanced for a long time around a double-digit lead.

Aranäs’ Adam Wennerholm was involved and deciphered the numbers, Elliot Stenmalm scored a total of seven times for RIK without taking tonight’s royal crown from Palicka.

Thanks to the victory, Redbergslid only needs one more stick to avoid the threat of direct relegation, Aranäs shoulders more of that pressure in the two final rounds.
