First title in the discipline

Triple Paralympic champion in Pyeongchang in 2018, the Frenchman has perfectly mastered the race in the standing category to afford the first title of his career in the discipline.

Second in the qualifications, then winner of his semi-final, he beat the German Marco Maier and the Ukrainian Grygorii Vovchynskyi in the final.

Thanks to his victory on the snow of Zhangjiakou, Benjamin Daviet brings a fourth gold medal to the French delegation, after the double of Arthur Bauchet in skiing and the coronation of Cécile Hernandez in snowboard cross.
