Ford has unveiled the new Mustang California Special, which will be available in its convertible version for the first time in Europe, the manufacturer said in a press release.
This model expands the European Mustang family, which includes the Mustang GT fastback and convertible, the track-ready Mustang Mach 1 and the all-electric Mustang Mach-E and Mustang Mach-E GT.
The exterior of the new convertible features an ebony black honeycomb grille and Carrera red GT/CS badging, as well as black, red and gray lower side stripes.
Plus, 19-inch alloy wheels and special ‘colour change’ badging. The nine exterior colors include distinctive Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange, which contrast with the black roof.
Inside, standard comfort technologies include heated and cooled front seats, a customizable 12-inch instrument cluster.
As for the powertrains, the Mustang California Special is offered with a 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 450 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
This new convertible is equipped with the Sync 3 communication and entertainment system which allows drivers to control their connected smartphones, audio, navigation and climate control functions using conversational voice commands and an 8 inches.
In terms of standard driver assist technologies, it includes adaptive cruise control with pre-collision assist and lane keep alert.
