Dark Energy Camera Captures Amazing Image of Spiral Galaxy NGC 1566, Here’s Astronomers Explanation

ATTACK NEWS – Dark Energy camera managed to take pictures apparently galaxy spiral NGC 1566 which was first discovered in 1826.

Using the Dark Energy Camera (DECam) on the Victor M Blanco 4-m Telescope at the Inter-American Cerro Tololo Observatory in Chile, astronomers have captured the image galaxy NGC 1566’s large design spiral.

NGC 1566 is located about 70 million light-years away in the constellation Dorado. The galaxy, nicknamed the Spanish Dancer, was first discovered on May 28, 1826 by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop.

NGC 1566’s two spiral arms appear to revolve around the nucleus galaxylike the arms of a dancer as they swirl in a violent vortex.

“NGC 1566 is home to star–star at all stages of evolution star,” say Astronomer at the Gemini Observatory and NOIRLab Dr. Janice Lee quoted SerangNews.com from SCI News, Tuesday 8 March 2022.

In the picture, the bright blue color that underlines the sleeves galaxy emerge from star bright young. The dark spots on these sleeves are trails.

“The arms are rich in gas, and form a large-scale area that provides the perfect environment for star new to form, “he said.
