Like Vladimir Putin in justifying the war in Ukraine, Florian Philippot spoke of “nazis d’Ukraine” on Twitter, referring to the Ukrainian people. The former member of the National Rally declared that he refused “to idolize the Ukrainian president and the Nazis of Ukraine” in a message which also tackled Emmanuel Macron and the NATO.
“I refuse to stand at attention behind Macron who lies, mistreats his people and cynically wants to profit from the war! Need to dissolve NATO and really, finally, seek peace, not for fake!”, He said in this tweet published on Friday March 4.
As a reminder, to justify Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin says he wants to “denazify” the country and notably designates Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is Jewish, as the leader of a “gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis”.
