Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media on Saturday (5/3/2022), reported by RT.com.
Peskov said the “denial of relations” following Russia’s attack on Ukraine, and the imposition of restrictions by Europe, the United States (US), Canada, Japan and others “do not mean Russia’s isolation.”

Russia’s military attack on Ukraine, launched on February 24, 2022, prompted the US, European Union, UK and many other countries to impose tough sanctions targeting various sectors of the Russian economy.

“The world is too big for Europe and America to isolate any country, especially one as big as Russia,” Peskov said.

He added, “And in the world, as you know, there are more countries that have a much more balanced, sometimes more reasonable attitude to the dynamics of developing international relations.”
