TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The digital transformation of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BRI) has caused a stir in the social media world.
In total there were 10 thousand netizens’ tweets discussing the big transformation, so the hashtag #TransformasiDigitalBRI became trending topic no. 4 for 3 hours, on Thursday (3/3/2022).
President Director of Bank BRI Sunarso said BRI will continue to transform.
“BRI will continue the transformation journey of “BRIVolution 2.0” to maintain quality and sustainable growth and achieve the vision in 2025 to become “The Most Valuable Banking Group in South East Asia and Champion of Financial Inclusion,” said Sunarso.
As is well known, BRI has been successful. The digital transformation that is being carried out is very massive.
Currently, 96.7 percent of customer activities are already using digital channels.
BRImo users themselves in 2021 experienced rapid growth of around 56.4 percent year-on-year (yoy) to 14.2 million from 9.1 million in 2020.

Then the number of transactions increased by around 66.2 percent yoy from 766 million transactions in 2020 to 1.27 billion transactions in 2021. As for the value of transactions through BRImo in 2021, it reached Rp. 1,345 trillion, an increase of 581.1 percent yoy from 197 trillion in 2020.
