Omar goes too far with the military course: during the mission he gives an opponent a number of striking blows despite surrendering. The instructors here are – to say the least – can’t speak for themselves. “Do you realize what you’ve done?” calls Dai. When the participant is strongly held accountable for his behavior, Omar threatens to hand in his batch and leave the program. But after a little hesitation, he doesn’t.
Omar stays, but what has happened does not sit well with Dai and calls Ray and the associates together for an emergency meeting. “It looks like he’s losing control and that’s probably because of his background. He’s a fighter. He’s had to fight all his childhood. (…) But when I talk to him about his behavior, he’s on the point again to give up.” Ray has heard enough: “The fact that we are in a dilemma says it all and we have to do something about it.” They decide to send Omar home.

Viewers of the program fully agree with this decision and are not at all sorry for his departure. “100% right that Omar is out, what a nasty aggressive man and he has learned nothing from it,” someone tweeted. ‘Hard but ultimately justified decision to send the proud Omar home. It’s good to see that it’s not just about masculine qualities to successfully complete the trajectory,” wrote another. Read more comments below:
