Informally called “swipe to queue”, this feature has been enabled on the iOS version of Spotify for years and makes it easy to add tracks to a Spotify queue with a simple swipe. This was not possible on the Android version of the app for many years, until now.
As first spotted on a File Reddit, Reddit u/Far-Contact-9369 points out that the feature is now available on the Spotify app for Android. The feature is due to roll out now, although it is not active on our end logged in with two Android phones on a Premium account in the US.
As an Android user, I didn’t even know this was a feature of the iOS app. It will now be much easier to add multiple tracks to a queue without having to do tedious tapping in each song’s actions menu.
It currently appears that the feature is rolling out to a small number of users for testing purposes before its wider release. Have you ever noticed that this feature works on Android?
