A video viral on social media shows the action of a man slamming and stepping on a truck driver. The incident is known to have occurred around the Cibubur red light, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
In the video, a muscular man can be seen waiting for the victim to get out of the truck. Without further ado, the man stepped on the truck driver’s stomach. Not only stepped on, the man also slammed the victim. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s shirt and pushed her to the ground.
Chronology of Events
The Head of Pasar Rebo Police, Kompol M Marbun, said the incident occurred on Wednesday (2/3) yesterday. At that time the situation around the location was a traffic jam.
“Yeah, he (the truck driver) doesn’t know when he’s stuck at a red light left ‘It’s a traffic jam, it’s a traffic jam’, said the Head of the Pasar Rebo Police, Kompol M Marbun, when asked for confirmation, Thursday (3/3/2022).
The incident turned out to be a fight between the two of them. Perpetrators who felt impatient came and abused the victim.
“He doesn’t thought hit by people. Yes (because of traffic jams),” he said.
The Perpetrator Hits The Victim’s Stomach
During an argument, Marbun said the perpetrator had hit the victim’s stomach. The perpetrator, called Marbun, also slammed the victim.
“Just hit him in the stomach, yes (slams too), maybe that’s what happened like in the video, we are still investigating,” said Marbun.
Marbun said the victim and perpetrator did not know each other. “Yes, he was beaten by an unknown person because of the traffic jam,” said Marbun.
