The United States has imposed sanctions on 19 Russian businessmen and 47 related individuals, as well as on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov. The information was published on March 3 on the White House website.
Nikolai Tokarev, Boris and Arkady Rotenberg, Sergei Chemezov, Igor Shuvalov, Evgeny Prigozhin and Alisher Usmanov fall under the restrictive measures.
The United States is imposing visa restrictions on “19 Russian oligarchs, 47 members of their families and individuals closely associated with them,” the statement said. And also against 7 Russian organizations and 26 related persons from the Russian Federation and Ukraine for “spreading misinformation”.
The United States has added Alisher Usmanov’s yacht and plane to the sanctions list.
