Long time no hear, Setya Novanto again throwing a tantrum at the Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung, West Java. This time, not because of a luxury cell or carrying a cellphone in prison, but because of a dispute.
This Novanto dispute dragged the name of the former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi. The two reportedly clashed in prison.
The Directorate General of Corrections, through the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Rika Apriyanti, confirmed the news of the dispute between Novanto and Nurhadi. Rika said the incident was about a month ago.
Sit down on the Novanto vs. Nurhadi case
The Head of Sukamiskin Village, Elly Yuzar, also told the story of this dispute. It started when Nurhadi was executed at the Sukamiskin prison, Nurhadi, said Elly was not a person who made small talk to just say hello or ‘kulo nuwun’ to the old prison inmates, one of whom was Setya Novanto.
“Mr. Nurhadi is not the same as the previous (convicts), before that he was really welcomed, respectful of all kinds,” said Elly to detikcom, Wednesday (2/3).
Because of Nurhadi’s attitude, a number of detainees, including Setya Novanto, considered Nurhadi to be disrespectful. That’s the point of their disagreement, only to the extent that Nurhadi did not ‘kulo nuwun’ with Novanto.
Elly said that Setya Novanto was an old man at the Sukamiskin Prison. Many prison inmates are also reluctant to Novanto because of Novanto’s position and high social status.
“Pak Setya Novanto is an old person here, with his position it means that many people are reluctant, right? power syndrome It hasn’t gone away, a high sense of arrogance, right,” said Elly.
The attitude of Novanto who felt disrespected and Nurhadi who seemed indifferent, said Elly, was made hot by those around them in prison.
“Mr. Nurhadi is just an ordinary person, he is usually considered impolite, considered disrespectful, ‘how come new people are not polite’, so the others are rude,” said Elly.
Nurhadi, who was considered ‘disrespectful’ because he did not excuse himself from Novanto, finally left Novanto’s group in prison. Nurhadi felt uncomfortable with the disrespectful assessment by Novanto and Cs in prison.
“The two of them don’t have a problem. Assume the group quotes, there are close people there, there are members, Mr. Setya Novanto’s friends, there is a group that says (Nurhadi) is disrespectful of all kinds, it’s finished,” he said.
However, Nurhadi is not alone. He was accompanied by someone named Amiril. According to Elly, Amiril was once in the same cell as Nurhadi, so the two became close.
This Amiril entered the Sukamiskin prison earlier than Nurhadi, so before Nurhadi entered Sukamiskin, Amiril had already joined the Novanto Cs group at the prison.
Back to Nurhadi, when Nurhadi was considered disrespectful, he preferred to stay away from Novanto Cs. It turned out that Nurhadi’s distant attitude was followed by Amiril.
“As soon as he saw Nurhadi withdraw, he (Amiril) also stepped back, all kinds of things were considered treasonous, ‘he used to sit with us, when Nurhadi was there he moved away from us’, said Elly, imitating Novanto’s group conversation at that time.

Elly emphasized that the dispute between Novanto and Nurhadi was only limited to that and nothing more. Until finally there was an incident of beatings by Novanto’s nephew, Irvanto Hendra Pambudi Cahyo, with Amiril.
“In short, Amiril was punched, not a fight. Amiril was punched, so that people connected Nurhadi with Setya Novanto, as if they were a stronghold,” he said.
Elly did not explain in detail what caused the fight between Amiril and Irvanto. Even so, Elly emphasized that the fight between the two “camps” of Novanto and Nurhadi was not related to the Novanto vs. Nurhadi dispute.
“They have absolutely nothing to do with the dispute between Novanto and Nurhadi,” he said.
Currently, the problems of Irvanto and Amiril have also been resolved. The two signed a peace treaty.
Neither Nurhadi nor Novanto were involved in the beating. Elly emphasized that their problem was only about ‘kulo nuwun’.
“That’s all (the kulo nuwun problem), it is considered rude, Nurhadi is considered rude,” he said.

Regarding the fight between Amiril and Irvanto, Elly said that Novanto was angry at that time. Novanto is called cursing Irvanto.
“As soon as the incident happened, Setya Novanto was angry with his nephew, Novanto said, ‘Just be shy about it,'” he said.
Novanto was also said to have apologized to Elly as Head of Police for his nephew’s fight. Elly said that Irvanto and Amiril had also reconciled.
“Novanto also apologized to me for his nephew’s behavior,” said Elly.
