Consequences of the shelling of the center of Kharkov

For more than two days, Kharkov has been shelled from artillery, air strikes have been carried out, dozens of people have died.

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, compared Kharkiv, which has been shelled by Russian troops for several days, with Stalingrad.

“In Kharkiv, the enemy is operating in the city indiscriminately with heavy multiple launch rocket systems and aviation. We understand that the task has been set to psychologically break Kharkiv and carry out terror,” Arestovich said on Wednesday, March 2.

He assured that Ukrainian forces repel enemy attacks.

“Kharkov is the Stalingrad of the 21st century, just like the whole of Ukraine. The enemy is suffering unheard of losses there,” Arestovich stressed.

Recall that after the talks between Ukraine and Russia on February 28 Kharkov is shelled for two days heavy weapons, dozens of people were killed, hundreds were injured.

In total, according to the State Emergency Service, since February 24 2000 became victims of the Russian attack civilians.
