mugging action targeting female cyclists at the Senayan flyover, Central Jakarta, has gone viral on social media. The perpetrator did not manage to take the victim’s cellphone, but his face was able to kejepret photographer.
The incident was captured by a camera photographer who was at the crime scene (TKP) in Jakarta flyover Senayan, near the TVRI Building, South Jakarta. The photographer is hunting photo of cyclist on location.
The photo of the alleged perpetrator was spread on a number of social media, one of which was on the Instagram account of Dr. Tirta Manhudi. In his upload, Tirta shared a photo of the alleged perpetrator.
In the first photo, it looks two cyclists which is rising in flyover quiet one. Meanwhile, the robber was following the cyclist using a Satria F motorbike with license plate number 4879 (unclear because the back letter was broken).
After carrying out an attempted mugging, the perpetrators were seen avoiding the cyclists and looking a little wobbly. From the results of the enlargement of the photo, the two perpetrators are seen wearing helmets and wearing masks, while looking at the camera lens.
“Jambret is in action again at the Senayan flyover near TVRI! Monday 2 days ago they acted in the Dalkot – Sudirman area and now Bekasi in the TVRI area,” wrote Dr. Tirta via Instagram, as quoted on Wednesday (2/3/2022).
“Take a photo with a photographer friend there, thank you to the photographer team who took the photo. Fortunately, the cellphone didn’t have time to take it, because the photographer was alert and the photographer helped and the bicycle partner was quick too,” continued Dr. Tirta.
The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Zulpan said his party would follow up on any crimes that occurred.
“Oh yeah, it’s obvious. I can’t see it just we catch, moreover plasticity yes, “said Zulpan at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday (2/3/2022).
He also explained the incident went into a kind of street crime or street crime. This type of crime is a priority for the police because it is considered disturbing to road users.
“That’s the name street crime. Street crime. That’s unsettling. That’s one we’re going to prioritize. We will take action on this. This is an immediate arrest.”
