Jakarta

Witan Sulaeman scored his first goal for FK Senica, Tuesday (1/3/2022). He scored a goal when Senica won 3-0 over host Banska Bystrica in the Slovak Cup.

In the match at SK Sasova Arena, Witan scored a quick goal in the fourth minute. Milan Jerdik scored two additional goals in the 17th minute and Raphael Anaba in the 58th minute.

FK Senica coach Pavel Sustr praised the goal scored by Witan. According to him, the goal was an important moment in his team’s victory.

“In a game against a lower caste team, it’s important that you don’t let them dominate the game. Our boys did it thanks to quick goals,” said Pavel Sustr, quoted from the club’s official website.

In this fight, Witan did not play fully because he was pulled out in the second half. The player who replaced him was Egy Maulana Vikri, his compatriot in the Indonesian national team.

As for this victory, FK Senica qualified for the quarter-finals of the Slovak Cup. It is not yet known which club will be the opponent in the next round.

The winner of the Slovak Cup is entitled to a qualifying ticket for the Europa Conference League. Nearby, FK Senica will face Liptovsky Mikulas first in the Slovak League continued.

“We like playing in the Slovak Cup. Games like this are diverse. It’s a shame the weather is not good,” said Pavel Sustr.
