Russian soprano Anna Netrebko suspends her concerts. She has been criticized for alleged friendly relations with President Vladimir Putin.

“After some serious thought, I made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the concerts until further notice,” she said in a statement issued by the organizer of one of her next River Concerts recitals.
Today, the managing director of the Bavarian State Opera, Serge Dorney, announced that the theater was terminating its collaboration with Anna Netrebko, as well as with conductor Valery Gergiev.
The Milan Rock also announced that Anna Netrebko will not participate in performances due to illness, but she specified that she is healthy, but will not participate.
