Linda Evangelista was photographed for the first time after announcing that she was finishing hiding – she was staying away from people and spotlights due to an unsuccessful cosmetic procedure for freezing fat. He called himself a hermit for the past five years. Unfortunately, it is clear that the super model from the 90s, called a chameleon and breathtaking, is very reminiscent of her old self. Her face is swollen and quite changed.

Her face was permanently disfigured by the cosmetic procedure she underwent six years ago, the Daily Mirror reports. The 56-year-old Canadian beauty, who was part of the Supermodel League with Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Yasmine Gyauri, Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford, said in September that she had been left disfigured after being subjected to CoolSculpting procedure.
And now the star – who has rarely been in public since 2016, was spotted in New York on Wednesday, apparently brave and ready to accept criticism, sympathy and support. She underwent the procedure in August 2015.
The procedure was supposed to reduce her fat cells, but as a result, Linda now suffers from paradoxical fat hyperplasia – a rare adverse effect that actually led to their increase.
Linda recently admitted that the intervention left her “permanently deformed”.
“To my followers who wondered why I didn’t work while my peers’ careers were booming: the reason was that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting procedure, which did the opposite.“she explained.
“It increased, not decreased, my fat cells and left me permanently deformed even after undergoing two painful, unsuccessful corrective surgeries. I became, as the media described, “unrecognizable“.
