Magloire: “I lost 27 kilos”

For many years, Magloire was a well-known face to M6 viewers. On February 23, 2022, Michaël Youn’s former sidekick was the guest of “Chez Jordan” (Entertainment TV) where he spoke candidly about his state of health. Last year, he said he weighed up to 198 kilos when he was losing his mother to Alzheimer’s disease. “I was dying, I had a heart arrhythmia problem (…) when I get revenge, I get revenge. Bad time, then mom died, then I was like, ‘since you’re alive, might as well live.”

But today, it is with a very different physique that the television host participated in this interview. After being morbidly obese, he revealed have lost almost 30 kilos. “My biggest enemy is myself. I am at war with myself (…) I lost 27 kilos. Courage is solving your problems and taking them head on. (…) I am really well, my health concerns I take them in front of me. I thank the health personnel and in particular my doctors for having saved my life.

“My metabolism is a little screwed up”

He returned to the course to achieve this transformation: “From the moment I decided to lose weight, everything is regulated. I stopped eating anything, whenever. My metabolism is a little screwed up. That’s how it is, afterwards you have to know how to deal with what you are. I would like to lose enough kilos to be well and to live”.

For many years, the one who appeared in “Fort Boyard” was victim of fatphobia as he had confided in a previous interview: “The fat is not necessarily guilty of his weight. And what is terrifying is that as soon as I eat something, I am still looked at in saying: ‘Ha bah, tell me, he doesn’t bother that one.
