Russian President Vladimir Putin disclose invasion which is done to Ukraine can be stopped with a number of conditions. One of them, Ukraine must be neutral.
Reported by Reuters, Tuesday (1/3/2022) Putin made this statement when he called French President Emmanuel Macron. The Kremlin said in a statement that Putin also asked Ukraine to scrap its denazification and demilitarization initiatives as well as Russia’s control of officially annexed Crimea.
“Russia is open to talks with Ukrainian representatives and expects (talks) to lead to the desired outcome,” he said.
Earlier, reported by AFP Monday (28/2) Macron urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to save civilians in Ukraine. Macron made the remarks during a 90-minute phone call with Putin that was conveyed by the French government in a statement.
By telephone, Macron asked Putin to stop attacks on civilians and infrastructure in Ukraine. He also requested that major highways, particularly roads from the south of Kyiv, be secured.
Macron said Putin was willing to do just that.
“President Putin reiterated his willingness to make commitments on these three points,” the statement said.
