BRUSSELS – Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky asks the European Union to admit his country as a member immediately. The country bloc should allow Ukraine to join through a new special procedure. “Our goal is to be with all Europeans, and – most importantly – to be equal,” Zelenski said in a video speech. “I’m sure that’s fair. I’m sure we deserve that.”
