Miyono is the older brother of Jokowi’s late mother, Sujiatmi Notomiharjo. Miyono, who is also the grandfather of the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, lives on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Manahan, Banjarsari, Solo.
The village head of Manahan, Jarno, confirmed the news.
“Yes, that’s right, he died around 19.30 WIB,” Jarno told reporters, Sunday (27/2/2022).
According to the information gathered, Miyono has been sick for the last few months. President Jokowi is known to have visited Miyono’s house last Saturday.
The funeral home is now quite crowded with relatives and residents. Police officers were also seen standing guard.
