Kristin Gjelsvik and Dennis Poppe:

After four years in Oslo, the celebrity couple Kristin Gjelsvik (35) and Dennis Poppe (31) revealed in January 2020 that they were sell their apartment on Grünerløkka.

Wall had a son Falk (3) the year before, and therefore felt they needed more space to frolic. One month after the apartment was sold, the duo could tell that they had hijacked the “dream home”.

The family of three moved out of Oslo and into a brand new house of 219 square meters in Drammen. That they chose to move to Drammen was quite coincidental.

– We can live anywhere, for our part. We made a plan that we would find the dream house, and as long as it was about 45 minutes from Oslo city center, it was inside, Kristin told Se og Hør at the time.

After two years in Drammen, the flu revealed on Friday night that the family is now ready for another new chapter. They have to move again. This time to Dennis’ hometown, Stavanger.

«CLIP ME IN THE ARM! @dennispoppe and I have for a few months now, gone and rejoiced that a dream is about to come true … It has still not dawned on us that we are building (!!!) the dream house, and it’s extra fun, of course, for Dennis, who is finally moving back home to Stavanger! ” she writes in a post on Instagram.

The 35-year-old now tells Se og Hør that it has long been a dream to move to the western village.

– Dennis has dreamed of living in Stavanger for many years, and longed to return to the city he comes from and loves. I’m also very excited about the city, and it’s been in the cards for a long time.

– It was a big decision to make. We have loved living in Drammen, but it felt very right to take this step now. It will be a new chapter.

Kristin adds that she thinks it will be a nice place for their little family, and not least it is very nice that they get closer to Dennis’ family.

Hints about family enlargement

Thus, it is house building that is planned for the future for the influencer.

– I am very motivated, but it does take some time before it is clear. I think we’ll be in January next year before it’s ready, so it’s a while longer. But I look forward to seeing the dream house take shape, it will be an exciting process.

The plan is to sell the house in Drammen this spring, and rent an apartment until the house is ready. Due to some exciting projects in Stavanger, Dennis will move west before Kristin and her son.

– There will probably be a lot of farting back and forth for both. He does not want to be away from Falk for too long periods, so there will probably be quite a few long rides and train rides, but we will manage that. It’s only a matter of a couple of three months, so we’ll make it happen, she states.

And when asked what the dream house looks like, the key word is “big”.

– Drømmehuset is a large house with a beautiful view with plenty of space for a possible family increase. The idea is that we will live in this home forever.

Disproves the rumors

As mentioned, Dennis is from Stavanger, while Kristin herself is from another western village – namely Bergen.

– I have never lived in Stavanger so it will be a lot of fun. I’m from the west so it feels a bit more like my old home, at least in terms of weather. I bet that there are not as many rainy days as in Bergen, but I cope with a little wind and weather, laughs the Bergen man.

She has lived in Eastern Norway since 2011, and says that there is a special reason why they have not moved west before.

– The reason why we have not moved before is because I have a mother with MS, and she lives in Eastern Norway – so it hurts to move from them. At the same time, we want to create a home where there is room for them to visit and stay for longer periods, so we replace the short visits with long weekends, she explains.

Before the couple revealed the housing news, fans have long suspected that something has been going on. Fractures have come up – again – but Kristin can fortunately reassure them that they have absolutely no truth in reality.

– We are together and we will build a house, and have a very exciting time ahead of us. These rumors only show how easy it is to spread false rumors and that you have to take what you read with a pinch of salt, she concludes.
