The home team’s Pavel Bucha did not change the penalty in the beginning, but Filip Čihák from Pardubice received a red card in the 20th minute, and Lukáš Hejda and Jan Kopic arranged a two-goal lead before the break in Victoria. After the change of sides, Milan Havel and alternating Tomáš Chorý also scored. The East Bohemians did not score after three rounds and are penultimate, but they have a well-postponed duel in Liberec.

Both teams expressed support for Ukraine facing a Russian military attack. Before the start of the basic teams, they wore T-shirts with the slogan “Freedom for Ukraine”, home blue and guests yellow in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. This inscription also appeared on the light boards. Even during the match, the Pilsen jerseys were decorated with the inscription “No war, please”.

The West Bohemians began with the expected pressure. After the first corner, Čihák kicked the returnee in the basic line-up of Beauguel and the referee Krejsa, after checking the video, ordered a penalty kick for Victoria. But in the seventh minute, Bucha, who did not hit the goal, threw it away.

Former Pilsen defender Čihák crowned his unsuccessful return to the parent club’s pitch in the 20th minute, when he drove sharply into Kalvach and was eliminated after the second yellow card. The Pardubice team received a red card in the second of the last three rounds.

Kalvach could soon take advantage of the numerical advantage, but he overshot in a good position. Before that, Hejd’s head was neutralized by Pardubice goalkeeper Letáček.

The home team took the lead in the 34th minute, when Hejda headed exactly after Kalvach’s corner. The East Czechs collected for the first time in the third league match of the spring part. In ten minutes, Kopic raised his head after Sýkor’s center, and in the setting of the first half, Letáček was saved by a crossbar after Havel’s head.

The Plzeň team continued to prevail at the beginning of the second act and the third goal was added by Havel in the 49th minute after an individual action and an unwanted pass from the visiting Tischler.

On the other hand, goalkeeper Staněk was injured after a collision with substitute Akosah-Bempah, and although he refused to substitute for the first time, after an hour of play, he still gave way to debuting substitute Tvrdoň.

In the 70th minute, Beauguel was close to the fourth goal, whose shot was stopped by “scissors” until the crossbar. The goal construction was later hit by the alternating Chorý.

He scored a goal in the first minute with a happy header, although the guests protested that the ball did not cross the goal line at full capacity. The West Czechs did not lose in the highest competition for the tenth time in a row and Pardubice defeated in the third of four league matches and again without a collected goal.
