The driver of a car was killed in a traffic accident in Hoogeloon on Friday evening. According to the police, it is a man. He had hit a tree with his car, which he was the only one in. No other traffic was involved in the collision.
The collision was reported to the emergency services around ten o’clock and happened on the Ingenieur Mettropweg. This road is located in the outskirts of Hoogeloon. Passers-by saw the victim.
The road where the fatal accident happened was temporarily closed by officers to investigate.
Police confirmed the driver’s death at 11:15 a.m. Saturday evening.
