PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) officially sells precious metals through marketplace Tokopedia starting February 24, 2022. Sales gold Antam is served by the ANTAM Official Gold Boutique account.
Antam’s President Director Nico Kanter said that the company’s presence in the marketplace is one of the market expansion strategies to reach a wider range of consumers.
Nico explained that the Antam Official Gold Boutique account on Tokopedia is managed by PT Emas Antam Indonesia (EAI), a subsidiary which is also the official distributor of Antam’s precious metal products.
“With Antam’s presence in the marketplace, it will certainly make it easier for all people in Indonesia to buy Antam’s precious metal products directly with guaranteed product safety and authenticity,” he said in a written release, Thursday (24/2).
He continued that during the period from February 24 to March 28, 2022, Antam Official Gold Boutique provides attractive promotions for the public. Through this promo, he hopes that more people will invest in gold instruments.
Nico explained that to transact on Tokopedia, customers just need to choose the product they want to buy, enter the basket, then check out the product to proceed to the payment and delivery process.
He added that customers must send their NIK and name according to their ID card as a purchase requirement for complete data verification and tax reporting requirements for the purchase of Antam’s precious metal products.
“The payment process itself is carried out using the payment methods available on Tokopedia, where payments will be verified automatically, so customers don’t need to confirm or send proof of payment,” explained Nico.
