Russian anti-war journalist will no longer be able to follow Lavrov
Excluded from all events, press conferences and trips with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Thus the Russian Foreign Ministry punished the well-known journalist Elena Chernenko, correspondent of Kommersant, who organized an open letter against the war in Ukraine. “There is no justification for war”, military actions “do not and have never solved problems”, reads the text, signed by 200 journalists. It was Chernenko herself who told on Telegram that she was expelled from the Foreign Ministry’s pool on charges of “unprofessional” behavior, reports Moscow Times.
