Young people aged 12 to 17 can soon receive a booster with the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine. The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport has announced this.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved the vaccine and considers it safe and effective for young people. At the moment, only young people with a very poor immune system can get this booster.
The RIVM and the GGD will soon organize the booster round for young people.
