Weather: here is the Map of all the Snow that will fall in the coming days in Italy, the details
Cumulative SNOW map by the end of the eventWinter is ready to return to Italy and with it the snow. In the next few days, the arrival of a cyclone powered by very cold air of arctic origin is expected which in addition to the rains will bring an exceptional snow load on various regions with flakes at gradually lower altitudes and with accumulations that may be quite significant, up to Hill.
Starting from Friday 25 February one will take off bad weather phase due to the arrival of arctic air and unstable which will result in the formation of a cyclone that from the Tyrrhenian Sea will gradually move southwards. The deterioration will enter its most intense phase over the course of Saturday 26 with abundant rainfall that will hit the Central-Southern regions and that, given the concomitant drop in temperatures due to cold winds from the North, it will be snowy on the central-northern Apennines, over 250 meters.
Pay attention in particular between the night and the early hours of Sunday when the snowfalls will become even more intense especially on the Marche, Abruzzo, inland areas of Lazio, Puglia and Basilicata starting from 200 meters, but exceptionally up to the plains and even up to the coasts in case of particularly intense showers. Cities like L’Aquila, Power, Matera, Campobasso e Isernia.
In the ski resorts of the Terminillo (RI), Roccaraso (AQ) e Campo Imperatore (AQ) accumulations of up to 80 cm of fresh snow are expected (up to over 1 meter above 1800 meters by the end of the event).
Above we show you exclusively the cumulative map of all the snow that will fall on Italy in the next few days, by the end of the event.
We also report the avalanche danger for all those who intend to practice outdoor activities during the weekend.
By Sunday evening the snowfalls will also reach Calabria and Sicily with the white lady will be seen on these regions above 500 meters, a respectable altitude, indeed almost exceptional considering that we are just at the sunset of winter.
