Bare midriff in a micro-mini: why everyone is vying for this outfit – fashion & cosmetics

It’s been six months since fashion designer Miuccia Prada sent her latest idea down the catwalk in Paris. It was the idiosyncratic interpretation of a “transitional look”. The sweater-skirt-and-a-lot-of-bare-skin-combination hardly left any questions unanswered. The hem of the knit sweater ended just above the chest, the skirt was reminiscent of Barbie’s sexy micro-minis. The models also wore slippery stockings. A fashion critic was reminded of the outfits worn by Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the turn of the millennium. Did Spear’s “Baby one more time” outfit serve as inspiration? Who will wear this? Is something like this only reserved for the well-trained representatives of Generation Z? The helplessness was written all over their faces.
