That shared that Traditionsteam from the National Football League on Tuesday (local time).
“This is now a one-year contract,” Eberle told the German Press Agency. “I get to go to training camp and give myself a match and then prove that I’m starting out as the number one kicker for the Packers.”
The 25-year-old from Nuremberg is dealing with experienced competition and wants to oust Mason Crosby, who is twelve years his senior and has been with the Packers since 2007. “I know I have to concentrate on my kicks and that’ll be it,” said Eberle. “I have the confidence, I know how well I kick – I just have to prove it.”

Eberle could play next season in a team with quarterback star Aaron Rodgers and the German-American Equanimeous St. Brown, whose future with the Packers is unclear.
Eberle played in college in Utah and has had NFL contracts with the Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans. He’s come to one NFL game so far.
He did that in December when the Texans’ regular kicker had to pause due to a corona infection and the 25-year-old joined the team.
In the 41:29 win against the Los Angeles Chargers, he showed no signs of nervousness and immediately converted his first field goal in front of an amazing crowd of 65,000 spectators. He did another one. He also got the five extra points very coolly for his team.

Eberle has been living in the area since he was 14 years old USA. At that time he emigrated with his parents from Franconia to California. With the Green Bay Packers, he now hopes to have more chances than in previous seasons.
