The second plane with weapons from Canada has arrived in Ukraine. This was announced by Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand on Twitter.
Anand called the Russian invasion of Ukraine “absolutely unacceptable” and announced continued support for Ukraine to defend its sovereignty and independence.
The first arms delivery from Canada took place last week.
Canada announced in February that it would hand over more than CAD$7 million worth of arms to Ukraine free of charge.
