Today we also discussed the participation of Russian companies in the reconstruction works being carried out in the areas liberated from the Armenian occupation. There is great interest in this work.
President Ilham Aliyev said so at a press conference in Moscow, AZERTAC reported.
14 orders have already been received from Russian companies to participate in these works. We carefully examine these orders: ”I think this is a new area of our cooperation. It will be useful from a practical point of view, the President added.
At the meeting with the Russian President, the current post-conflict situation in the region was also discussed in detail. I think that after a little over a year, at least two international formats have been established, and a working group is functioning at the level of the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. There is already a cooperation platform “3 + 3” in which Russia, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan and Armenia participate. “These are a sign of our intentions,” said President Ilham Aliyev.
